Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) project in Rokeby

We are excited to be part of this group collaboration, and site works are underway to start building these new SDA homes in our local community.

Thanks to the collaboration between genU, WAI Group, and Community Housing Limited, we're breaking ground on Derwent Place, a brand-new specialist disability accommodation (SDA) project in Rokeby. 

This development will provide modern, accessible homes for up to 12 Tasmanians with a disability, ensuring 24/7 on-site support while promoting independence and community connection.

A huge step towards inclusive housing in Hobart!  Construction wraps up by the end of 2025. Stay tuned for updates!
